Leicester are awful.

Last season was the exception, this season is the rule. They must have been relegated nearly as many times as The Unwashed.

I went selling rag mags in Leicester many moons ago. They were the most tight fisted bastards imaginable, worse than me, and I've nursed a grudge ever since.

People from Leicester are odd. There's no better word to describe them - they're not particularly violent, or slow, or unfriendly. They're just, well, odd.

They have that really camp sounding, whiney accent too.

Most weird.

Last night was a fuckin' mess.

Reserve line ups for a match live on the BBC, managers making pathetic excuses like kids who had forgotten their homework and had been found out, a stadium full of happy clapping ignoramuses, an embarrassed presenter trying to tease positivity out of bored and world weary pundits and all for the greatest cup competition in the world.

Everyone involved on the TV were probably just confused about why Man Utd weren't there.

I'm sure I heard MON say that teams shouldn't play weakened sides in cup games.

Erm, Moscow Martin?

For me, that was the day that things started to go wrong

Leicester fans singing "Champions of England, you'll never sing that".

Derby fans retort with "We've won it twice, you'll never sing that".

Ahhh, the modern plastic football fan.

I recall a trip to Old Trafford where similar happened (it might have been when we lost 3-1 and Neil Cox scored).

Anyhow, doing the double back then was still seen as a huge achievement and they had just won their first. In their attempts to goad us they chanted "We've won the double, you aint".

This was met, as was just about every song they sung for the rest of the game, with "Yes we have, yes we have, yes we have".

That was during Brian Little's reign. We drew 0-0 and we were on the opposite corner due to redevelopment.

Some burk in a daft jumper was leading it.

"Have you ever done the double?
Yes we have!
Have you ever done the double?
Yes we have!
Have you ever done through double,
Ever done the double
Ever done the double
Yes we have"

Manc twats.

Neil Cox goal was a 90th minute consolation under BFF in the year we won the League Cup.

I was at that game. Cox stuck his two fingers up to the Man Utd supporters when he scored. I've always liked him because of that.

The opposition aren't much of an attraction, in fairness.

I wonder if all the fans have made it back from Bruges to swell tonight's away following.
