A relative who supports a relegated-to-championship-recently side tells me that one of the worst things about it is no coverage on iffy web sites, and even worse, the Channel 5 coverage.

Surely all the games that are televised will be on the internet somewhere.

Surely all the games that are televised will be on the internet somewhere.

You'd expect so, it's just that not many of them will be televised anywhere other than the UK. In the Premier League, if it's not on Sky/BT then it'll be on Fox Sports, Bein, NBC or somebody similar so there will be a dodgy stream to follow.

If Villa vs Derby (for example) isn't a Sky match, it's unlikely that an Abu Dhabi TV station will be choosing to broadcast it instead.

Do Sky have a decent highlights show for the Championship (and not just the live games and goals express/when they happen thing on SkySportsNews) ?

I reckon we'll be on the box a fair few times next season.

The 3pm Championship game that Five pick as their main game for the highlights show usually has a stream, I somehow found a Wigan-Rochdale stream a few weeks back as it was the main game on the show.

I think we'll be on TV a decent amount, correct me if I'm wrong but Leeds have been on TV around 15 times this season.

What will have next to no coverage will be our frequent midweek games home and away. It will be like the early rounds of the carling cup, think back to the Notts County game this season.

The Aston Villa Channel/Sky Sports 1 will be showing us at 12:00 every Saturday I would imagine.

I'm banking on the fact that the Head Of Sky Sport is a massive Villa fan and therefore we will be on a fair bit!

Does George Riley still present the Five highlights show?

I rate him as a presenter (especially on radio) but the programme itself is poor

As a match goer I hope not!

I'll be watching us on Central Match Live presented by Tony Francis and Greavsie.  Christ, it used to be Derby v Leicester or Wolves v Swindon every pissing week on that.

I'm subscribing to Bein Sports. they have live Championship games and a pretty comprehensive Championship package for what I can tell. I also get Spanish football in that. Means I'll watch a lot less PL football, which is a plus for a year*

There's a magazine type show on Skysports think its on a Monday.  I have visions of Gavin presenting it from the sky sports cafe with Birtles co presenting.

That begs another question, will we all bother watching the prem as we have no interest? I will but not so much

Didn't Leeds refuse Sky access to the stadium this season because they were so fed up with their matches being moved for TV?
I'd imagine that will be us next season.

A relative hasn't had a season ticket for a few years, family commitments etc. For some strange reason he's actually excited about next season and will get a ST.
