Options are really limited but could go Guzan, Richards, Okore, Lescott, Cissokho, Gana, Lyden, Veretout, Ayew, Sinclair, Gestede in 4-3-2-1 (or 4-3-3) formation?

Subs - Bunn, Hutton, Clark, Westwood, Bacuna, Gil, Agbonlahor - all of whom are absolutely crap apart from Gil!

I'd probably go with that team too, the 3 CB's experiment predictably hasn't worked - conceded 7 goals in 2 games. Only change I'd consider to the above would be Gil for Sinclair and more of a 4-1-2-1-2
FFS , hes not gonna pick guzan , bacuna , richards , westwood and gabby again ,is he ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,surely not
I wouldn't pick the fuckers to make the tea!

No wonder the players lack confidence if the fans feel like this. A decent goalkeeper and a world class creative midfielder and everything will be okay. Maybe I'm drunk. I'm going to bed.

It's on plenty of foreign channels but, you would need to find a pub that has access.

Is Westwood really a footballer? Or is he just some bloke who won a contest to run out for the Villa

I've said it before, he's the rice cakes of football. He exists simply to fill a gap.

I was somewhere between usual loss and thrashing! Like Man City last week Spurs will be happy to accept the easy three points and try to get their goal difference up.  Will go 0-3.  And I have three Spurs players in my dream team, so since we're going to lose anyway, I would like Dier, Erkinson, and Kane to get the goals please ;)

-----------------Guzan
Hutton, Okore, Clark, Cissokho
Veretout, Richards, Gueye, Sinclair
------------Ayew, Gestede

Let's not even attempt to play through them, route one to Justhead with Ayew getting on the knock downs

Think you are right about the tactics, and we do need to try and out fight them and be more physical.  Still any Villa lineup with Hutton in it is always going to be a flawed one for me...

Shoe horning Richards in to another new position as well because he's crap in all the others he's tried won't work either.

I want to see us work hard tomorrow. We might still lose but I want to see that they all care and for 90 minutes care enough to try and win. Too many of our players have had what they are doing after the game on their mind rather than the task at hand.

And if we go a goal down, not just give up and take a hammering.

Westwood is the worst player I've ever seen. Not just in a Villa shirt.

Tomorrow, if I see Richards, Westwood or Gabby in our lineup, I'll turn it off.

Come on Remi, give us some hope. I'd like to see Lyden and Sellers in. Will it happen? Probably not.

Especially as we will have to endure past the 74th minute apparently ;-(

It's to let the anticipation build.
