there are no words anymore
Last desperate act should be sack Garde now and appoint Pearson.
I agree but not his fault at all. Clutching at straws saying Pearson too as don't particularly like him but who else knows the championship in detail that is also available !?

If ever a squad is deserving of the Pearson touch it's this shower. If I didn't care i'd take a peverse pleasure in it. I could daydream about him screaming into Flabby or Bacuna's grid daily.

Players may deserve Pearson, but the fans don't deserve having that absolute tool in charge of Aston Villa.

Indeed, we've had more than our fair share of tools these last 10 years.

We have a massive box to fit all our tools in ( Pat Mustard).

The more desperate the club's position gets the more desperate the fans get, so I find it understandable some call for Pearson.
If we had anything about us we'd go cap in hand to Moyes in the summer, but I'm dreaming with that one. It ain't gonna happen and we'll end up with another nobody who is willing to work under Lerner's austerity.

I'd rather Pearson than Moyes. At least it'd be interesting. I'm still hoping Remi will stay and rebuild in his own way.

I note with interest that Micah Richards featured prominently in all 4 goals.  You have to admit that he doesn't do things by halves.

On the other hand, it all happened in the second half. Oh well.

Brilliant.

Pearson or Pulis are 2 of the very few managers that could make me stop going to games.

Not sure what fans expect. This is just desserts for years of mis-management at the top. Keep firing managers in the hope the "next" one will reverse fortunes, and we shall keep dropping like a stone. Pearson, Pulis ..... Guardiola, Mourinho - they will all fail under this regime.

The ONLY solution to our ails is a change of ownership. That isn't going to happen soon, which is why we are in a whole world of trouble irrespective who the manager is.

I really don't get the outpouring of contempt for Bacuna. he is severely limited, yes, but that is his only fault. He does try and does put in a shift. But is just out of his depth. My contempt would be saved for those I expect better from but are constantly letting us down by cheating. Richards, Lescott, Gabby etc I like Bacuna but he isn't good enough for this nor the next division. That alone doesn't warrant an outburst of hate.

I honestly don't mind Pearson that much. He went a bit loopy last season but he's done a decent job wherever else he's been I think. Pulis would be horrible.

Only Sunderland would be dumb enough to pay £5m for Richards after this season of horror but they might be going down as well so....

If we recoup his £3.1m wages in the summer, I'd count that as good business.

I don't think he's a bad manager, I just think he's a nasty piece of work. As shit as we are, I expect us to be better than employing  a walking timebomb as manager. Let's not forget he told his own fans to fuck off and die, a number of press bust ups including calling a reporter a prick, grabbing an opposition player by the neck.

It's a firm no from me to that scumbag.

Alan Hutton is a limited footballer who puts in a shift, Bacuna on the other hand I've never seen break into a sprint and comes off the field with cleaner shorts than he starts with.
