Mass walkout v Spurs is essential as it's live on TV and, I think will generate much needed airing about the once proud and mighty AVFC

I thought it was only moved because Spurs are in Europe so isn't on TV?

Shame on the "supporters" that were booing us that walked out on 74 minutes. They have no conception of our strong feelings and, how helpless we feel with being in the state we are as a Club. At least it got people talking about us on TV and radio

I'm not usually one for tears but, was almost moved to them as I was watching our poor excuse for a football team and, just how far we dropped.

We have nothing else to lose so, please back the walkout!!

Also shame on those in the Upper Witton who sat in silence when the Randy Lerner Out song was being sung. I felt a right twat doing a solo. Quite a few walked out the door on 74 despite a few tut tuts from the old codgers.

Agree with this, why didn't they boo those that walked out after Lukaku's goal/Everton's 3rd? Did they boo anyone who left early in the last home game as Liverpool put their 4th, 5th etc past us? They can do one.

Just home via that London and a couple of hours on my son's sofa bed.

All been said really.  I found the selection of Guzan, Agbonlahor and Bacuna mystifying.  I begin to suspect that Remi is too forgiving. I have trouble understanding the failure to give young players any team time at all.

Enjoyed the singing.  Enjoyed hearing Fox get his share of the blame at last. Enjoyed seeing Hutton and Veretout give their shirts to fans.

Concluded that the worst of our worst squad in living memory is Richards because he actually chooses to play badly. Our team captain.

Even the food in Charlie's chip shop was disgustingly cold, slimy and priced on their seemingly new scale of fans pay more than locals.

Bad night all round. Off to face the massed ranks of piss takers at the fruit and vegetable markets.

I'm not sure it's forgiving, because it seems pretty clear he does not respect quite a few of them and would rather not play them. The issue seems to be his reluctance to play the youth. The Mail, Kendrick I think, published a story a couple of weeks ago where Garde was said not to want to expose the young players to a situation which could scar them/affect their development. I'm waiting for the point when he decides there's sufficiently few games left and the learning experience won't be a sufficiently negative one.

I don't get that either. Fair enough if you don't usually sing, but when protest songs are booming round the ground surely you would join in to make your voice heard and to try and get change for the club we all love?

Loads of people don't sing at matches, it's their choice. Same as it was my choice to sing last night. It's starting to sound a bit "better fan".

We want Lerner out; Randy Lerner out
I just don't think you understand
From European nights....to relegation fights
We want Randy Lerner out

Repeat until the whole ground is singing

(c) Jordan Stokes, 2016

Great song Jordan; as Dave said earlier it may have taken 2,000 attempts to write a good one but this is pure class - shame I was the only one in the Lower Doug singing it but I'm sure it'll catch on. Sorry to the little lad in front who my sister says was frightened by my loud voice.

Thing about that song is, Randy Lerner wants out himself......
Still no excuse for how he's managed the club.

I'll put up with the scarves hanging out of the window but if you start singing in the car, you're on foot

I'll agree that booing people leaving is inappropriate (NB I was not aware of any booing in the LTR) but I don't think not singing calls for a "shame on" response.

I don't sing, never have sung and have no intention of doing so in the future. Also, I don't agree 100% with the song in question.

Thankfully the boos were muted - as I said I applauded those that left but I am better at hoarse-throated hatred and vitriol than dignified exits

You are all quite right. I naturally assumed that having changed the match v Spurs to a Sunday meant TV scheduling but, does not show up as a live match. However, I still hope that people will walk out on 74 if the Club haven't come up with a sensible response before said match ( Fat chance of that!!)
