Gil's so frustrating. When he's on the right he makes such a song and dance about cutting inside onto his left foot that there's time for him to be surrounded by defenders and when he's on the left he darts infield onto the right foot that he can't use.

I'd bring Jushede on for Bacuna.

Boring as fuck, but better than 2 weeks ago.
As usual though, we have utterly meaningless possession when in their half.

I think we all know that the familiar Alamo scenario is little over 20 minutes away, where one of the silly yellow cards becomes red and we lose 2 or 3 nil.

Decent 45 all things considered.
Say what you like about Hutton, he puts a bloody shift in unlike that tosser Richards!!

A java update. I bet Hughes won't be expecting that.

Apart from our attacking, that half wasn't too bad.

Stoke look as if they thought all they had to do was show up and we would crumble.
Gueye has been scrapping well in midfield, superb saving tackle from Okore at one stage. Veretout looking lively but can do more.
Hutton is limited but having a committed player is better than that clown Richards.
