They didn't completely outplay us, they were crap as well. Apart from that Charlie Adam effort it was a crap game between two crap sides. We were awful though, 3 at the back to home to sodding Stoke. That's the game Sherwood should have been binned as we seemed to have no tactics or game plan and it's the game he said some of the players weren't fit enough and the break coming up would be like a mini pre-season. It was October. Admitting he had failed to get them fit in the actual pre-season should have been immediately sackable.

I think that was the game that convinced me this was the season we were going down.

At the time Stoke had I think 1 league win and every single game Jack Butland had been motm. Yet in that game I think we mustered one shot at goal which showed me we weren't good enough in the final third and nothing has changed.

Amavi getting splinters in his arse as Richardson repeatedly got turned inside-out is my abiding memory.

Villa to win 2-1 with goals from Gabby and Gestede (you have to keep hoping).

It's BK actually. Get your homophobic, defamatory, scurillous, libellous, innuendo-laden accusations factually accurate before polluting this site with your filth.

Sacha Baron Cohen did the Football Focus predictions today. He's tipped us to surprise a few people with a much improved performance and only a 3-0 defeat.

How Bacuna, Lescott and Gabby can retain their places after the last game and aftermath is simply staggering

Will we see any effort today? Not sure, but there will be no repercussions if they don't anyway.
