We want Lerner out; Randy Lerner out
I just don't think you understand
From European nights...to relegation fights
We want Randy Lerner out

Lerner lives over the ocean,
Lerner lives over the sea,
Lerner's forgotten the Villa
And he's taking the piss out of me.
Give back, give back, give back my Villa to me, to me.
Give back, give back, oh give back my Villa to me.

How did it really come to this that this sums up my relationship with the Villa?

So many that it's easy to blame, no doubt there is a common factor, and I've no doubt he's a nice and good man that just didn't have the luck or skills to make, or get people to make, the right decisions.... Anyway not the thread for analysis, reason, more for the raw emotion.

Cash: Hurt

There could be a horrible remake of this as a Villa montage ;(

Timi Yuro: It'll Never Be Over For Me

Randy:

"...inside my heart is breaking apart,
Because it'll never be over for me...

It may be over for you
But it'll never be over for me."

Extremely puerile, but a short and to the point to all the players and staff that have let themselves and us down over the last 6 months.

Back to square one, and the old school backfire
It's just begun, let's watch the blind eyes turning
Stains on the wall, been waiting far too long now
Nice day, blue sky, I watch them shrug their shoulders

At the risk of being slaughtered for an Abba song - replace Chiquitita with Aston Villa - it works nearly all the way through - but especially this.....

....Aston Villa you & I cry
but the sun is still in the sky
and shining above you.
Let me hear you sing once more
like you did before
Sing a new song Aston Villa.
Try, once more
like you did before
Sing a new song Aston Villa.
