Sanchez is a liability that screws up at least twice a game.   Keep him out.

Agreed.

Interesting that Gana does exactly the same thing but many on here don't see it.

Gana has been doing well in the defensive midfield role, but he is like Sanchez in that he can be having a good game and then go and do something a Sunday park player would be disappointed with.  We could really do with a solid, reliable player in front of the back four who can keep the ball for us.

Gana was excellent at the weekend, but I do think he has the ability to play where Westwood is and create a gap for someone really consistent in the defensive role. He has god a decent touch, likes to shoot (often badly but has at least scored this season!) and is good at carrying the ball.

I can't understand why you'd say he excellent - he was supposed to playing the defensive midfield role and gave the ball away (a la Sanchez) 2 or 3 times in the first half in really dangerous positions.

Maybe we won't overtake Palace but it doesn't change the fact that Palace fans I know are shitting a brick. Pardew has turned out to be Pardew. There's lots of fear at the bottom end of the table and we are the only club that doesn't need to feel afraid. That's all I meant.

And, you're right.

Indeed! I though at times he looked a liability.
