Fair play to them they've shown a lot of fight. Shame Ayew and the diabolical ref have let us down.

Garde looks like he's enjoying his job at the moment.

Gabby gets an arm in the face.

He ran into his arm really..........

Yeah he did, I hadn't seen the replay when I posted.

All our remaining players on the pitch deserve a lot of credit for tonights performance. I think Gabby has given us a bit of belief going forward actually, not that he's seen much of the ball.

might be worth throwing on Grealish for Gil at half time, Grealish might be more comfortable on the left

Bar Bunn's brainfreeze we have been comfortable defending even with 10 men, West Ham have been really poor

Not sure about the penalty, his back was turned, maybe that was how he had to jump on the run, etc. No doubt about the red card though, perhaps the most stupid and most obvious sending off this season.

This has brave defending let down by a tired defensive calamity written all over it. Shame, really, because with a bit more time on the ball and a better outlet it could have been a smash and grab even with ten men.

Crap game

You could have cut and pasted that from any of our match threads for the past four seasons.

Fuck sake will some of you get a grip, wanting to drop our best player this season because he got a red card, yes it's stupid, he'll get his ban for it, but lets not throw him under a bus in a tantrum.

No. He's a millionaire c*** acting like a c***. It's not a mistake. He'll probably be banned for 5 games. Violent conduct.

So having money means you're not allowed to do something stupid with a rush of blood?

He's paid not to be stupid. Nothing "angry" was going on. He won't care.

As I said the other day. Top to bottom in all top flight football, failure is rewarded. Get on that gravy train and it doesn't matter whether you have relegation in your CV.

I don't usually care so much, but I'm upset about other stuff in real life not football, so I'd laugh it off another day.

Of course, hr should be played again.

He moved his arm back.

I blamed Kouyate when it was Song but that arm across Gabby's face could easily have been a yellow as well.
Kouyate arm across face - nothing. Last season Benteke puts hand on face of Mason against Spurs and gets Red for violent conduct!!
The refs in the Premier League are ****ing unbelievable.

The pots take is Garde had got us drilled into a style of pay that actually looks solid and gives us a chance now.  Until the madness we were easily the better team. We were last week too. And second half against Leicester. Beat Palace too. Those two pens go our way as they should last 2 games we are possibly sitting on 18 points tonight with Norwich at the weekend. As it is it will be 13 without our best forward. Garde must have had enough.

So...who do we put on up front to try and change it? Forgive my ignorance but who is Mason?

The ref has been diabolical yet again.
