Yes. Get Pulis.*Maybe* get enough points to be out of the relegation zone. Continue with lack of investment and recruitment of players from the usual sources: 2p Lucky Dips, church raffles, Poundland, Aldi and loans from The Hunter's Moon 2nd XI. Watch horrible football. Die of boredom. Get relegated anyway probably.

2-0 loss and more proof that we should have moved heaven and earth to get Pulis when we had a chance.

Wow.

Draw for me.

Well it's hardly a 'wow' when we've lost nearly every other game this season is it?

Any fan actually wanting to move heaven and earth to get a manager as horrible as Pulis, yeah, it is a wow. Even where they are, Albion fans wish it was not Pulis that has them there.

Pulis has a history of keeping struggling teams in the PL, so why should you respond with a 'wow' when a poster says we should have moved heaven and earth to employ him at Villa?
What's so outrageous about calling for Pulis to be our manager?

Cheeky barsteward, I played for them. Manager said I was his Viera. I think he meant I was a tall, lanky streak of piss that looked like I hadn't quite control of my legs when I ran.

True, probably, and I'm no fan of Pulis, and a couple of years ago I'd have been tearing my hair out at the thought of Mr. Anti-football being Villa manager but these are different times now, and I wouldn't have a problem with any fan who'd call for Pulis now.

For someone who is always on about what it means to be Villa and the heritage, history, class act etc. wanting to be associated with someone who missed his true vocation coaching rugby league is a bit surprising.

Fletcher, Morrison and Brunt could be out for them so they are likely to park the bus at home...the problem is we dont have the creativity to break them down and are likely to concede on the counter. A draw is the most likely result but we really need the 3pts (stating the obvious!)

2-1 to the Villa.
Them scoring first from a set piece, corner or free kick, and taking great delight in waving goodbye to us.
Only for us to equalise and then win it late on with a one on one goal from Kozak, after they have spent the whole match battering us possession wise.

People of this parish hate MON for walking out a week before the season started, yet some would also happily have Tony Pulis manage us. (This isn't the first murmuring of this on here)

This is forgetting Pulis walked out two days before the season started, and is being sued by palace for a £1m bonus he took which he shouldn't have.

http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/west-bromwich-albion-fc/2016/01/18/crystal-palace-want-to-reclaim-1m-bonus-paid-to-albion-boss-tony-pulis/

That, and that he's a horrible anti-football playing bum-nugget mean that I'd never tought him with a bargepole.

That's hilarious - the idea that a team (even West Brom) would perceive a need to park the bus against us.

I certainly don't hate O'Neill, nor would I have a problem with any fan calling for Pulis as manager. After all what he does is keep struggling clubs in the PL, and why should anyone care that he walked out on Palace other than Palace fans?
If Lerner's only ambition for the club is to keep it in the PL he may as well employed Pulis or Allardyce instead of charlatans like Lambert, McLeish and Sherwood.

No songs about Wolves last night from the Sandwell fans which is funny 'cos they hated them a few years ago. But then, we weren't so bad in those days.

Now we have become their deadly rivals again.

At least Small Heath are consistant about us.

0-0.

Just think about what you've said there.

Tony Pulis 'keeps teams up'. So fucking what! It's hardly an achievement to be proud of. You can't put 10 'survived relegation' plaques up in your house when you retire. At least McLeish has a raft of winners medals to be proud of.

What has Tony Pulis ever done for football?

I'm not having a go, just really don't get why anyone would clamour for merely 'staying up'

Because we're going down?

Anyway, fuck the fuckers.
