Surely at £20 - this is going to be pushing 40,000 ?

Those are very decent prices. Well done the club.

The Upper Trinity will be opened if the demand is there. I think it will be about 35-36k including the 6000 Man City fans. A win on Saturday could add a few on the gate though.

The normal away end is red on the seat plan aswell, we can't have given them 9-10k surely? Embarrassing if so.
Why embarrassing? Full ground is better than half empty. We have had more than 9000 away fans at VP in the past and they have been great occasions.

They've already sold out the upper North, and most of the lower. Impressive. Think they'll definitely request more tickets in the Witton.

What's impressive about it?

I hope you are impressed when the Mancs take the piss for three hours.

It's impressive from them, would we even take 5900 up there even with cheaper tickets? I said earlier in this thread it will be embarrassing and piss taking if they have 8-9000 but it looks like it could happen.

We lose most of our games and play rubbish football. They win most of their games and play fantastic football with some true stars of the game. Of course we wouldn't take 5900 to see another routine defeat.

Man City have always taken thousands everywhere, even when they were shit. Just hope they don't turn into the red lot up the road from them when they were here for "that"  night time FA Cup game when they had about 9k tickets.

I think we'd take 5k everywhere we went if we were winning the league every other year and had the kind of financial backing & access to talent they have. Please don't confuse this lot with the ones from Maine Road...they're a different club altogether.

The original rule in the FA Cup was 25% of capacity to the away side.

I'd like a return to that, it meant some great away days and good home atmospheres. It's only when arseholes like Newton Heath act like c**ts that I would think of reducing the allocation.

Personally I'm sick of seeing other clubs fans parading and celebrating wildly at our ground, so i'd rather allocations we're cut!
