There is nothing in this that say 'attitude' to me. It is a response. In neither response has she been abusive, and in both she has acknowledgesd the fan's perspective. I understand that he has had to stop going out with his family due the abuse he gets from fans. These responses are the least I would expect from her as his wife.

To paraphrase: You've given an observation of the players and of my husband/partner. Perhaps if thats your observation then you don't want a gift of boots in future?

I'm still blissfully unaware of these stories of abuse too.

While I would expect someone to stick up for their partner, its clear there is almost a "shut it or else" element to the response.

And why shouldn't she say something? Odds are that person has been nice as pie to get something from her husband, and is then having a go at him. Someone did that to me i'd be saying something as well, as i'd imagine most, if not all, of us would.

In fairness, some of the stories about the abuse Westwood and his family have been given when they've been out as a family i'm not surprised his wife is saying something.

It must be hard, but I think the best thing to do in that type of situation would be to just bite your tongue and try and ignore things written on social media.  Personal abuse while out as a family is a different story though.

He hardly singled him out did he? He said the players couldn't give a fuck, which is obvious they can't to which she replied Westwood does and was pulled up about him not going over to fans. So not really having a go at him, just stating the facts/obvious. To which she's basically said fuck your boots then.

Fair enough but seems very thin skinned considering how bad we are, she'd have been better off keeping her mouth shut and let Westy get on with robbing a living from us.
