One thing Bacuna most certainly isn't is a left back. It's laughable that he's even having to play there.
3-1 Villa win is still only worth 25/1 in Coral. Went for that and Veretout as first scorer at 14/1. Probably no chance of either but gone for them nonetheless.
He scored from one against Man City a year later. Think there might have been another too.

I don't see the point in picking up the odd win here and there between now and May. It would be more fun now to see if we could get to the end of the season without winning another game.Rather than routing for the lazy fuckers, and giving any remaining optimists a glimmer of hope that we can still get out of this by dripping the occasional point or three into that final column, let's join them on their journey to getting us mathematically relegated as soon as freaking possible with one stinking win on the board all season.

Reminds me of Joel Schumacher to Woody Allen after he made Batman and Robin:JS: I think I've just made the worst movie ever.WA: no, to make the worst movie ever would be an achievement. You haven't even done that.Do we want to be the worst ever, or Batman and Robin?
I've always thought that Bacuna flatters to deceive because of his supposed versatility. Like most of our squad, is regularly guilty of making terrible decisions. The frequency at which he gives the ball to team-mates in poor positions, or looks to play square or cross-field balls in order to just 'pass the buck' instead of trying to instigate any attacking movement is the thing I find most frustrating about him. He's not even the set-piece specialist he appeared to be at first. He hasn't hit even a remotely decent one since that Cardiff game! He's a squad player at best at this level. I can't think of one other side in the Premiership where he'd be anything other than an occasional name on the bench.

Like the rest of them. Or almost the rest of them, a few are less shit than the others.for me - He's a mediocre squad player at best.

Unfortunately, it equates to him being equally shite wherever he plays.
