We're only below Everton if you count the Charity Shield as a major honour.

Champions of England, we're fifth. Like it says.

Cock fighting.

I was in the Philippines a couple of weeks ago and cockfighting is broadcast live on TV there.

I heard Ron Jeremy went out there and dominates the sport, like a sort of Phil Taylor in his golden years in darts.
Or am I thinking of something else?

Eleven sides that have lost their Premier League status have subsequently entered administration, at which point they are legally required to sell players and other assets in order to pay off debts.

That's not true is it?
No, they are required to pay off all Football related debts under the League and FA Rules to retain thier license.

I thought it was more like they had to prioritise football related debts but not necessarily pay them all off if the money isn't there. Either way it's a bugbear of mine, the local businesses who can hardly afford to lose out get next to fuck all while some rich Premier League club will get everything it is owed even if it's some piddling amount that wouldn't pay the wages of one of their superstars for a day.

Fifth?

Stopped reading.

I think that's correct, Chelsea have overtaken us on major trophy count.

Even by the articles definition of most League titles, we are fifth (behind Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal and Everton.

It is correct. It's also a better introduction than say   "Aston Villa are one of just seven founder members never to have been relegated since football was invented in 1992".
Well we won't have to worry about that tag line attributed to us any longer.
