I think we'll be OK in January, provided we buy a decent striker and left back. And a 'keeper. And a centre half. And a midfielder or two. And a right back.

Gestede is playing as a premier league centre forward!!!
It's just fucking incredulous.

Gestelde is our replacement for Benteke!!!

Sinclair needs to stop fucking running too far forward if Ayew has the ball, I swear these players are brain dead. You need to be in the space just around their box FFS

Just read the last few pages. Was going to start watching. Think I am going to have a sofa kip instead.

Nah, we're just shitting you, it's been our usual brand of high-tempo, electric football, and Gestede has been playing like Ibrahimovitch.

Gestede couldn't hold a ball up if he stuffed it under his shirt.

This made me laugh from the BBC's online coverage

"Have you been watching 'The Hunt' on BBC One? You know how wildebeest look utterly doomed every time they are on screen? Villa's defence give me the same feeling..."

I am listening to Spanish commentary, which is nice as I am spared understanding most of it. I am imagining them saying "Aston Veeela, fucking hell! Caramba muchachos ! No hay huevos coños!"

And a few refs.

Can't bring myself to laugh, just getting more and more numb to it.

Wouldn't it be nice, just for once, if Southampton were left cursing playing terribly and then conceding a late goal to lose 0-1.
