They way we have approached this game, and the way we have (not) reacted to being battered makes me think the players have given up.

Which would imply they have taken a look at Remi and thought nah.

If it's any consolation at all, and it really isn't, Bournemouth now 2-2 with Swansea and Vardy has given Leicester the lead at Newcastle.

I'm off to read some mind-numbing literary theory, it'll be less painful than this shit.

Thanks for the total demolition job you've done on Aston Villa, Randy.

Our January transfer budget is going to have to have a fuckload of zeros on the end.

No point, we are down. Not getting depressed about it. Sherwood has not prepared the squad to be ready for the season, the side itself is now very, very fragile, and we are miles from being competitive.

Remi needs a small army of polishers for this collection of turds. The squad is just not good enough, blame lies with recruitment policy and Sherwood.

can only hope that fucking prick Lerner disappears up his own arsehole in the pre season so we can build again.
People were fawning over Ellis for being so kind to us in hand picking Lerner as his successor, I'd argue that he wasn't as diligent as he might have been... but Ellis became a 'don't criticise' zone when reached 75 so i suppose i'd best keep it to myself

Agree. We need players in but we'll be well adrift by then.

The Villa Facebook page always makes me laugh. They constantly update it during the match with images and comments.

The latest image was Richardson and Deulofeu with the post stating "Everton 3-0 Villa – MATCH PIC: Kieran Richardson locked in a battle with Everton's Gerard Deulofeu."

Why would you post something about that? Yes, update the page. But just update the score with no images and don't mention anything. It's embarrassing.

Or, the players simply aren't good enough.

so we have no centre forward, no left back, still playing Westwood and Guzan in goal. (Yes he did make a great save)
How the hell is Garde supposed to keep up with this lot?

Fucking garbage. Enough of this wank.

I might take an Aston Villa supporting sabbatical.

We just never seem to improve. Woefully inept players. I hate seeing Westwood with the ball, he never does anything with it. Richardson is a fucking ballsack-no pace, no skill, can't pass, always looks knackered. Giving the ball out wide to Hutton-why? It's like the beginning of last season under Lambert-Hutton is shit, he never assists a goal, never has a shot, never wins a corner, even.

Sigh. Fuck off the whole team. Poor Remi. And most of all, poor us.

It's awful, isn't it? They consistently show how out of touch they are. All well meaning content, but often cringeworthy and contrary to the mood of fans (reading comments).
