Gong out with a whimper if that. Arseholes.

Such a shame we couldn't snare any of our targets.

A cymbal of what has become of the club

I can hardly drum up the interest to click on this thread anymore.

Right lets try again

Knowing us we'll end up bringing Djembe-Djembe back in.

That's got to be the winner.

Beat me to it. (I didn't think it was too well known!)

Did Albrighton leave on a free because of wages or was it genuinely Lambert showing him the door?  I found that whole episode completely and utterly ridiculous.
I felt it was probably a combination of both. According to Marc we never offered him a new deal. That said we wouldn't have offered him the terms he's apparently getting at Leicester.

And to be honest as much as he is a decent guy - he would not be worth it

I think with Pato seemingly on board at Chelsea there maybe some movement in the Remy loan and as for Townsend - not sure of his wage but they have agreed a 5 year deal OMG

I keep reading this Pato is a midfielder though. I admit, I don't know a great deal about him.

He isn't, he's a centre-forward.

Okay in the early 90s.
He would've been 3 or 4 in the early 90s? Have I missed something?

Only if you're not a fan of, or familiar with early 90s reggae.

Yeah I'm familiar with Pato banton........ Talk about a tenuous link??? Maybe I should make some sort of link about the X-Factor contestant on the Darius Vassell retires thread ;)

i see Bournemouth have signed an 18 yr old Lithuanian keeper as 6th choice - how can they get a work permit for him and we can;t for our chap, or do you not need one from Lithuania?

I see there has been a lot of interest from other clubs in Gabby......not. Just shows how what other clubs think of him, he must be getting old with all these niggling injuries he's getting or is it the extra weight he's carrying?

extra weight hardly helps his injuries, with his other off field problems this terms playing football has been a long way down his list of priorities this term. Dreadful professional and an appalling example to other young players at the club.

The latter - no restrictions on movement between the UK and Lithuania, whereas there and between the UK and Croatia.

There's still a couple of days to prove me wrong, but I just feel like we're naive and pretty ham fisted when it comes to our dealings.

Is he really a dreadful professional?

One club player and never speaks ill of the club, gets very involved with charity work, and is our all-time top Premier League goalscorer?

I agree he's lacking in ability, but it seems harsh to question his professionalism.

i would question his professionalism every day of the week

overweight which doesnt help with his constant injuries and has done absolutely zero to work on the weak points of his game

as for being our leading pl goalscorer, so what. just look at how many games it has taken him.

gabby epitomises what is wrong with our club, lazy and just happy to pick up a shed load of money while contributing fuck all
