Rémi sounds quite confident on new faces here, from Pravda:

Rémi Garde wants the team to have his "personal touch" on it after the January transfer window.

Garde has given his views on the squad to the Board, which now contains new chairman Steven Hollis - and knows how many new signings he wants to bring in.

The boss is eager for the squad to be moulded more in his image when the month is over.

But he stressed that January is not the best time to acquire players.

However, he insists he's working hard with the Board to bring in fresh blood.

He said: "I would like to have my touch - my personal touch on the team.

"It takes time. At the moment, let's say we are at half-time in the window - still two weeks to go.

"Sometimes it's like in the game - in the last minute you will score a very important goal.

"Let's say that the first two weeks I have worked very hard on that.

"It's very clear in my mind what I need. Then hopefully I will have it.

"I would like to bring in some players. The Board knows exactly what I want. We are working on that for now.

"I know it's very important to strengthen the team. I have said that to the club.

"I have been here for two months. I have assessed the team and players individually - and the collective strengths and weaknesses within the squad.

"For the moment I didn't sign any players - but there are still two weeks to go."

They offered Marc Albrighton reportedly 40k a week when he left us

Dyer, Huth, Dyer, Inler are all on decent contracts I suspect

They have spent decent transfer fees on the likes of Kramaric, Ulloa, Okazaki, Gray

Their rise this season is unprecedented in the Sky era but its not quite rags to riches either

I think we'll sign some players last week of the window so not sure we'll get much for the next two league games.

How good would it be to get 4 points from the next two league games. Might convince an undecided player or two to take up the challenge to keep us up and we'd be fully in the mix if we then went onto beat Norwich.
