Wasn't Garde a pundit on French TV covering the English PL? I'm sure he knows who Crouch and Walters are.

I've thought for a while that Walters would be good for us. He looks to give his all in every game.

On top of that he had a big bust up and told Roy Keane to ***k **f which is never a bad thing.

With his wages and the Euro's this year doubt he'd come though. Good player though.

If we bring anybody in it will be on loan and from abroad. Remi doesn't know the British market so our chances of getting Crouch and Walters from Stoke are non existent. He may well have never heard of them.

It's well-known that it's nearly impossible to see Premier League football unless you're living in England.

There a lot of ex pats I know in Portugal who watch the Premiership via the internet.

I live in Malta and watch every Villa game, home or away on the telly or down the pub. They have 7 sports channels and each one is dedicated to a different match on a Saturday.

Yes, yes, that's all well and good, but I bet you've never heard of Crouch or Walters?

However it's nearly impossible to see Crouch as he has not played any PL games for Stoke recently having said that Remi will know who these players are and what they can do. Ron's comment is TIC.

Remi will have people over here that know the game. He could well have been in touch with Wenger.

I live in Australia and can watch every Villa game live from my comfy sofa. Trouble is kick off is between 1am - 4am so imagine how Sundays feel after watching us the last few years.

That'll be them. One of my favourite bands ;-)

I live in Msida, in between Valletta and Sliema. Chuff knows how I ended up here for so long, but I left to do some wandering for a year last year and ended up coming back.

My niece lives in Malta, can't remember exactly where though. I went in around 1987 but I haven't got round to going back. That's all I can say about Malta really.

Haha, actually it was really nice . I do want to go back, I've just never got round to it. Incidentally, the hotel where we stayed is the one that got blown up in the film Munich.

Pity I didn't know that.  We were there last year and two years before that.  Would liked to have met up.  Oh well.  Lovely place Malta.
