Keeper and CF have to be priorities. For GK, either Kalinic we've been linked with from Hajduk Split or John Ruddy from Norwich should be realistic options to improve us. CF seems a trickier one, but somebody 10x more mobile than Gestede who can score goals other than the occasional header would be useful.

Twitter links to Rob Green. Just when you thought bottom had been reached
He's better than Guzan though in fairness.

Robson Green is better than Guzan

Sarah Greene is better than Guzan

* One for the over 40's*

Hughie Green is better than Guzan (The Nazi-sympathising father of Paula Yates, for those under 40).

And I mean that most sincerely, folks.

Al Green is better than all of them at a time like this where the message needs to be Let's Stay Together.

Maybe we could lock Guzan and Richards in Winson Green.

Actually if we locked up all the shit footballers we've got they'd be chronic overcrowding issues.

We've sunk so low we'd have difficulty beating Camberwick Green reserves at the moment.

Dire "Only Fools" spin-off "The Green Green Grass" is better.

I reckon our own Brian Green could do a job as rush-back goalie
Depends on your definition of "rush" Chico!

Anyone take Kevin Nolan?

Delivered to Villa Park in his coffin? He's finished mate, ask any West Ham fan he is completely shot.

Agreed. In the same boat as Lescott and Richardson, Cole and Senderos.
And from what we've seen this season, Richards, Hutton and Guzan.

Why does Hutton always get thrown in with comments like this?  He's been one of the few players who has been pretty good for us over the last two years.
The subsequent comments from tomd, Goldie and Chicago Lion are pretty much why I lumped him in with Richards and Guzan, chris.
I think he does work hard and gets into some good positions going forward but his decision making and delivery are consistently poor.
Defensively he gives his man too much room - eg: Cresswell v WHam, Sunderland throughout the game on Saturday. He SHOULD be better but he just isn't, and as a senior professional he should be one of the leaders on the pitch, the most solid and reliable, not the one getting involved in petty scraps, giving away stupid free-kicks and getting booked needlessly.

I honestly think Hutton has been our worst player (of the regulars) this season, he works his tits off getting up and down the pitch but when he gets there he's useless at both ends.  I've said it before but I'm convinced his pathetic positioning in defence has cost us more goals than anything else this season, he's been responsible for 3-4 over christmas/new year alone.

agree. I think the most damage is his attacking - why used him as a major outlet - use a proper attacking player not a meat head.
