He has 6 months left on his contract. Get him in on loan, it would help him be back in th PL and U.S., but without a longer term commitment from both parties.

Why on earth would QPR agree to that?

Not only that by why the fucking hell would he want to come!

We are a poison chalice at the moment, who do people honestly think we are going to attract in January, given that would could be as good as down by 2nd Jan?

Shall I go to the shit and likely to be relegated Aston Villa in January or keep on doing what I'm doing for another 4/5 months and then decide?

He said in the summer he had no interest in leaving QPR to join another club in a relegation fight and was better off staying at the club (or words to that effect), we might as well go for Messi and Neymar as well.

VP would be perfect for those two - a quiet backwater away from the glare of international publicity and intrusiveness.

Francesco Toldo is saying in the Italian press that Italy's No 2 keeper Salvatore Sirigu needs to play every week before the euro's, it is understood that scouts from Aston Villa and Newcastle will be watching Siragu at PSG's game with St etienne tonight,

If ever a deal needs doing this is it, just loan him till the end of the season, Please!?

there's only one Belgian I want us to be linked with - the return of the beast!!

I think we should offer them £20 million as that is what they thought he was worth.

Hmm.

Sirigu needs to move because he isn't playing matches for PSG (one game this season, back in October).

Therefore Newcastle and us are going to send scouts to watch a PSG match.

There's definitely a flaw in this plan somewhere.

I think most players at Championship sides in with a chance of going up will be thinking that.  Similarly players at clubs who are higher than us in the league will be put off as well.  We'll be looking at players from abroad or loaning players who are not getting any game time.

I believe it's the league cup so he could be playing.

Austin is going to get much better offers.

We need a hail mary up front, a winger that can chip in goals and a striker that can score them. I still reckon the shout of Crouch is not a bad one for his hold up play allowing others to actually get hold of the ball higher up the pitch.

A player we got rid of way too soon and has done it pretty much wherever he has been including at international level. Older head now, might even teach Gestede a thing or two. I think we still need a predatory forward so Austin or Austin type is required. We need a presence in the midfield, a new CB and certainly a GK who will instill confidence. Throw in Cole if we can convince him to join until the end of the season and we might have a chance.

Well, it's a bit more positive than normal, yes.
