Grealish is on the bench, which is a tough decision but I completely understand why he's done it.

THE MANAGER MADE A DECISION AND IT MAKES SENSE

Much better line up though where the goals will come from is going to be a real problem up the transfer window when hopefully we can get someone in!

Finally a decent line up, pretty much what most people have wanted to see for weeks.

Not too bad, Gil starting was a no brainer, good Amavi is back and I'm intrigued how middle trio of Gana, Sanchez and Veretout looks, could be balanced.

Now off to the pub.

Well bugger me, he's only gone and dropped the inherently useless, and picked a line up that makes some kind of sense!

Come on Villa!

Much much better line up than of late.

Finally, no Lescott which has been long overdue

I see Charlie is on the bench. In from the cold.

Still, not a bad looking team, though he can't know everything about the players yet.

It'll be interesting to see what our game plan is and what the players do. I can't remember the last time our players knew what they were supposed to be doing.

Need to be extremely luck to get anything today, but here's hoping.

On paper that's probably our best side. Debatable whether I'd have stuck gestede in instead of Sinclair but man city are decent in the air so would have played a part in his thought process I guess.

Not that hard to pick a half decent team.

That looks a lot better.
