Pick that side again and it's 5-0 Spurs.

He won't though. Practically every PL team picks a weakened team for the League Cup.

Fair point. But we seem to pick a weak team for every game.

4-3-3, of sorts:

Guzan; Richards/Hutton, Okore, Clark, Amavi; Sanchez, Gana, Veretout; Grealish, Gil; Ayew.

The team most would select. Sherwood mark 2 may have different ideas!

Can't see both Gil and Grealish in the starting line up or Gabby not being picked.

3-0 Spurs. One game closer to having a manager I suppose.

I'll be watching this in the same Inverness pub I saw us batter Blues 1-0 in which may be a good omen. Then again I'm not superstitious and we're even crapper now than then so I have no hesitation in predicting a 4-0 reverse.

Begin with changing all 5 on the bench from last night with any 5 that started it and we may have a chance.

On the face of it, you can't see past a home win. However, Spurs flatter to deceive almost as often as us so it wouldn't be a total shock if we somehow came away with something and boy do we need something.

They haven't lost a league game since the opening day, we haven't won one since the opening day. Nailed on away win!

Have us down for a win. I know its the gamblers fallacy but you have to imagine we will get lucky one of these games.
