On the plus side, I bet Southampton weren't expecting that starting 11 so we may have got a tactical advantage by confusing them!

our best and only chance of winning silverware is this cup so why put out a team as wank as this?

i feel sorry for those who have travelled

The team selected would struggle in the Championship
We'll find out quite soon

If i'd traveled down there tonight i'd be massively pissed off seeing that lineup. I really hope they prove me wrong and we win but jeeze, it's just deflating seeing that 11.

Why do we have a game in the Championship soon?

Can we sack the caretaker manager? All joking aside it's fucking awful line up. This was a golden opportunity to give the likes of Veretout, Adama and Ayew a chance.

this

plus clark and richards could have got a run together. i mean gabby and gestede ffs.

I'd describe it as functional.

Any wingers to utilise Gestede's only attribute? Possibly Bacuna. If not, we're playing with ten men.

Is today national 'Play All Your Full Backs' day? I count five of them. Let's hope they prove me wrong but I wouldn't back that team to score in 90 games, let alone 90 minutes.

I think K-Mac is probably trying to create width to serve Gestede but it's still a depressing team. Gil and Veretout should have been ripe for a run.

I hope they prove me wrong, but that is shit.

That's the kind of side that could have played against Chelsea or Swansea to grind out a draw and stop the losing run. It's not the side to put out in a cup games.

I agree with Gana getting a rest but where's Adama ?

Tim's probably thinking, "damn, five fullbacks. Even I thought that was too weird a lineup option"

For being a realist. No worse than some naive , happy clappy guy who thinks everything is wonderful . Have you noticed the state of the team, club, league table etcetc
