Fox, etc, maybe in consultation with new manager. Or not.

Why is Crespo in over Okore as well, the guy needs minutes.

I assume as they are only just back from injury he doesn't want to risk both.

Okore was getting training match minutes the end of last month though wasn't he?

Accept the guy might look better than Okore...it's not difficult.

The 90 minutes he gave against Stoke? Ok, we are in huge trouble then.

Southampton XI: Stekelenburg, Yoshida, Targett, van Dijk, Caulker, Ward-Prowse, Romeu, Wanyama, Ramirez, Pelle, Juanmi.

far from world beaters either, no Soares, Bertrand, Fonte, Davis, Mane, Sadic and Clasie from their team that played v Liverpool.

Imagine how our fans down there feel after seeing that team. I'm glad I didn't bother going now!

There must be something going on in the background at Villa Park if he selects a team as awful as that.

My fear is the game could be over before we bring in the talent from the bench.

This game could kill any remaining confidence.

The team selected would struggle in the Championship

Indeed - so it's quite depressing that about eight of their team tonight would is probably better than our equivalent.

Can we sack the caretaker manager? All joking aside it's fucking awful line up. This was a golden opportunity to give the likes of Veretout, Adama and Ayew a chance.
