Opponents known for effective passing game.

Tactical approach? No midfield.

Bypass the midfield by hoofing it up to Gestede?

No Westwood!

No midfield!

He's going to push up the pitch with the highest line he can.

If that line up works it should be brilliant to watch.....

Not a chance in a million that it will though.

There will be a lot of punts up the pitch to Gestede. That is as nailed on as Gabby being selected to the side again today.

Ridiculous line up. One proper central midfielder.

You've got to wonder what's going through his head

Gueye missed his "mini pre-season", so thither is to give him some stamina work.

What an absolutely gormless twat we've got for a manager.

I could have understood 4-5-1, but that's just bollocks.

Ki, shelvey and sigurdsson against gana, Bacuna and grealish (I guess??)

It's the kind of line up you see suggested on a forum and think - that person doesn't really understand football

Let's hope we've all got egg on our face in a bit

Subs: Bunn, Amavi, Westwood, Traore, Sanchez, Gil, Crespo

I reckon those seven who beat Sherwood's XI today. What a complete and utter twat.

My thoughts exactly, he flicks it on to Agbonlahor who runs down a blind alley.

How he has been able to "manage" another game is scandalous .

You just know we're going to lose this before a ball has been kicked.

That line-up could only be the product of a not-very-bright person on two hours' sleep trying desperately to prove how original they are. I mean, by Christ I hope it works, but you really worry. Swansea's strongest area is their central midfield - solution? Vacate the centre of midfield. Bloody hell, let's see what happens.

What you're all missing is that he's actually done what we all wanted and gone back to the shape from the Leicester game but he's decided to start without a midfield and slowly bring it on rather than taking it off.
