Fox is a money man who knows about as much about football as my arsehole.
What is your arsehole saying about current state of affairs?

Just asked it for a morning report and it doesn't look good.

Yes, I'm starting to get totally fed up with Guzan now and I wonder whether a better goalkeeper would calm the defenders down a bit as well.

I still like Tim and wish people would be a bit more respectful on here about him, but the situation is that his lack of proper experience is evident every week and it's going to cost us big time unless we make a change. I think I'd like to see a change this week to be honest, and wish him all the best for the future.

Guys, I know we're bad but surely we didn't trick ourselves into thinking we could get a result. Even when Chelsea are at their worst we are no match for them. We can't even compete against the bottom third of the league. We have a terrible record at Stamford Bridge.

How about Swansea next week? They're not a bottom third team.
We then have Everton, Spurs, Man City. Are you willing to just write all of those games off and just wait until we play Newcastle, Sunderland, Bournemouth, Norwich and Stoke?

Brad Guzan is NOT good enough and unnerves defenders with his antics. Sherwood knew this when he dropped him after the Man CiŁy shambles last season. He was dropped after that.So why wasn't he replaced in the summer? This just about sums the club up at the moment. Poor decision making from top to bottom. We are a fuckin shambles.
To be fair I think he targeted Begovic to replace him, I think we made an offer, but he hung on for Chelsea and who can blame him.  The mistake was waiting to see what he was going to do, should have made a last minute loan bid for Valdes at worst I think.
So no back up plan then? Like I said we are a shambles.

The most worrying thing is we've played Stoke, Sunderland and Boirnemouth (2 at home) and only got 4 points from those games).

Exactly, we can't afford to write off a single game, we need to start picking points up everywhere. Chelsea away, yeah really tough game, but they aren't Barcelona, they we're poor yesterday and points were there if we had the quality. We didn't, we sat back for most of the match and after the 1st goal it completely drifted by into a non entity game. We gave up.

In the second half we just looked beaten, had no energy, no drive. Totally not good enough.

Richards and Gueye I thought put a shift in.

Richards always puts a shift in.

And he'll be gone next summer because as a player he won't accept this embaressing attitude towards defeat that everyone at the club has. There's always a rainbow round the next corner, that we are promised, coming soon an improvement from the embarrassment we've become, you just have to keep your gob shut, get behind the boys and keep paying and it'll happen. Well will it fuck, they're running the club in to the ground.

Lerner, complete failure, needs to go asap
Sherwood, office junior appointed as global manager, needs to go asap
That twat Fox and his false narratives, another money man who lacks the experience of the role he's taken on, needs to go
Almstadt, from what I've read another money man from Arsenal

Is there anyone at the club, from top to tea lady who has any fucking experience in doing what we are paying them immense sums of money to do?
You missed Wilkins out, what has he brought to the table?

Clearly it's not working. Sherwood needs to be ruthless and make changes . My observations from yesterday .

Yes we had more possession but it was usually meaningless tippy tally rubbish on the halfway line between westwood Gana etc then roll back to Richards/Lescott who invariably roll it back to Guzan . Great.

The corner taking has become beyond a joke. Hilariously bad. I watched one from westwood second half which was from Chelsea's left side , he floated a ball which barely made the edge of their six yard box and was headed away unchallenged. Absolute piss take .

Gestede is getting no service whatsoever .

Traore is a winger yet came on and was stuck out of position in the middle . Joke.

Amavi dropped yet brought on as a like for like swap with Richardson ? Why ? We were losing the game why not push amavi into an attacking LM role ?

Sherwood again making little or no sense after the game , just sound bites and cliches of nothingness .

That team is not good enough for this league and is heading for relegation. most of the players are just not good enough, Westwood no range of passing can not attack or defend, Ayew is completely out of his depth, Gestede cart horse, Richardson journey man coming to the end of his career,Lescott is completely past it,Guzan a liability and the rest are at best average.
We do not have the players so I am not sure why any manager would want the job except for money because by the time we get to the transfer window it will be to late.

I thought the Amavi sub was a bit pointless as well and he should have put Traore on as soon as we went 2-0 down.

Interesting that so many people are talking up Gana. Personally, I think that if anyone thinks he is the much fabled 'upgrade on Delph' then they are blinkered. Delph was fantastic at receiving the ball in difficult areas, keeping it and getting us on the attack. This lot, Gana included, tend to get shrugged off it. The amount of time we gave the ball away in the defensive third yesterday was embarrassing. Westwood's looks half the player he was without his mate alongside him too - and he was no world beater to begin with. He has known nothing other than relegation battles.

Grealish and Gil looked lively when they combine but I don't know whether to view that as a positive or negative. It's positive that the two can clearly play and have good touch, but negative that for all that, they barely create chance between them.

I have always liked Guzan but he has become a clown. He didn't actually make a save yesterday, Chelsea did fuck all - his only contribution was to gift them a goal at a time when they didn't look like scoring and we were probably shading it. If it wasn't our club, these mistakes would be laughable.

9 defeats in our last 11 league games is not something that is going to change by magic. The problems are too deep rooted - 4 points from 9 games. Bloody hell, I am doing my best to be positive but I don't see any hope of us getting 36 from another 29 games, we looked doomed.

Summed up perfectly
