Agree on Gana OB, runs about a lot but in terms of meaningful play ?? Reminds me of KEA .
I thought the Amavi sub was a bit pointless as well and he should have put Traore on as soon as we went 2-0 down.

His legs were gone around the 55 min mark and had just got a yellow.Thought both substitutions were the right ones to get some width in our play, unfortunately Amavi and Traore particularly were useless when they came on.
Gil, Grealish, Westswood, Richardson, Ayew. All completely lightweight players as well. Gil and Jack do damage in areas of the pitch where it matters not a jot, there's no penetration. They need to be 15 yards further forward interlinking, and have a forward in front of them they can hit with through balls and link with too, Rudy, lovely head but feet like two sacks of cement, pretty much useless as we are. Gueye and Westwood, shit combination, Westy needs to fuck off for his own good now, get Sanchez in there, get Veretout in there. Give Jack and Gil a bit of freedom, get them further forward and have them with Ayew centrally. If it doesn't work fine but surely it's better than all the square peg, round hole rubbish we are trying at the moment. To be honest we are really regretting no replacing Benteke with a proven scorer, I think we are toast, there's even less goal threat in this side than last year.
Did I dream it but I though Mouriniho had a stadium ban for the game( not that it would have made any difference)

He had the surprise element against Palace and it's ok having Notts County full backs on toast, but he has a lot of work to do if he wants to make an impact in this league. That said, he is freshly back from injury, young and playing for a team that is incapable of pushing the opposition back and keeping possession so he is always picking up the ball in really deep areas.I actually think Richardson gets some unfair stick. He did well enough yesterday, didn't get beaten too often, held the line well and carried the ball forward. He doesn't have Amavi's end product though, and age isn't on his side. I have a horrible feeling Sherwood is going to prove a point about the whole 'signings not his choice' news by making an example of Amavi. That would be another mistake. Two final points, both of which are extremely annoying. As everyone says, the corners are beyond a joke. The good news is that Gil got to take a corner and a free kick yesterday from the right. The corner was shit but at least it was an in-swinger. The free kick caused havoc. It is completely unfathomable to everyone how an entire squad and coaching staff can watch those shit corners float in every week without pointing out that they aren't really working. Gestede, Lescott and Richards are all a genuine threat from corners and in our current predicament, set pieces should be seen as our best route to goal. And then there's fitness. So much for the mini pre-season Sherwood put them through. Gil, Grealish, Richardson, Ayew Westwood (to name but five) all looked completely shagged by the hour mark.

I think back to his remarks when he took over.He thought himself as a custodian of the club, it's history and heritage, he understood it all, blah blah. When push came to shove he then employed so of the worst solutions to the problems we had. For a club who he claimed to get and respect how does he reconcile appointing perennial losers like Mcleish or work experience candidates like Lambert and Sherwood.I love this club, always have done, I've spent 30 years watching them now, which is a fraction of the time some have done and it bloody hurts watching us as we are. I KNOW we are a big club, I've lived it and feel it whenever I'm in the ground. We need someone in place managing this team with a prescence. Partially to help us gain back some respect, we have none anymore, we are a bit of a joke. Someone to instil a bit of fear in to the others, with a brain, years of doing it, someone who won't be laughed at or ridiculed. Not another rent a quote with nothing to back it up, or someone who's just really pleased to be here because he's only manager a fucking turnip of a club like Norwich City.Lerner cannot completely disconnect with the club and expect to get anything right. It's not going to happen, but before he sells, he needs to sort this mess out that is partially of his making. The first port of call should be to make the next appointment one that would turn a few heads. We are in the so called best league in the world. There is money pouring out of everyones ears.We are still very very well known.Huge ground, great support and ghosts from the past that can only inspire the best.Make the next appointment something fitting of what we were and still can be, let's not accept what isn't even second best, some no mark from a nothing club who will completely crumble under the pressure of managing one of this countries truly big clubs. If he hasn't learnt his mistake from 3 examples then he never will and we are doomed. We're Villa, 7 Fa Cups, 7 leagues, 5 league cups and the big one, let's have a bit of bloody self respect and expect more than what we are getting, no more losing 5,6,7 in a row and carrying on like it's to be expected. No more not scoring game after game and carrying on like it's to be expected. No more losing to shithouses like Palace and Stoke at home without a whimper. No more employing people who crumble because they have no substance. We need to find some respect for ourselves again and the first stage is appointing a manager that is respected. Over to you Fox and Lerner you pair of twats.
