You've had a poor start to the season.
You're not playing well.
Your manager is under pressure.

But don't panic.  Look who you've got up next... AVFC. The fixture most guaranteed to put a club or out of form striker's season back on track...

It hasn't worked for them in the last few seasons. We've been their bogey team at Anfield for years regardless of how poor we have been.

Them 0 Us 4

Sinclair 8, 54
Gestede 35
Ayew 83

(If Traoré is fit, I reserve the right to change goalscorers)

Benteke out. Loveren stretchered off tonight. Crowd want Rogers out. Get an early goal and their crowd will go ballistic. 0-1 Sinclair ......

Lovren being stretchered off is probably a negative for us.

If we get the first goal we really can win this. I'm hoping Gueye is back, we've really missed him.

Liverpool are in a mess and not playing well so they are there for the taking and we need to get at them early. This isn't the Liverpool of old that would swarm when they go a goal down...their current team are more likely to collapse and capitulate if we take the game to them.

2-0 Villa and the Anfield crisis talks will be all over the media.

They appear to be utter shite vs us being merely mediocre. On that basis I am going for a Villa win.

Villa win. Ayew to score. Tim to tell us how happy Tim is. Candles lit. Brendan fired on Sunday am.

Benteke probably out.We could win this but more than likely get a 1-1 draw.Sinclair 78min.
A win though would be a huge confidence booster for Sherwood. We must hope Gueye can play in this one
