I mean, if you;re going to have someone in the free role, floating about at the top end of the pitch, you'd choose Gil, wouldn't you? If Grealish is unavailable?

Maybe Bacuna can drop back and help out defensively a bit more, I suppose.

Occasionally Bacuna does something good, or something very classy, as demonstrated by his goals at the club (which are becoming distant memories). Other times he looks like he's never seen a football in his life. He occasionally looks like a kitten with a ball of yarn.

A bit sluggish, Gestede, isn't he?

If we can get to the byline and whip crosses 'back' if you see what I mean, then I think he'll score loads. If we cross in from midway in their half, I'm not sure he's very effective.

With Sinclair and especially Traore, though, we should be able to provide more of the former.

Sunderland have no pace at all, do they? They look an awful side.

And I'm surprised their supporters haven't been demonstrating against Cattermole's continued inclusion. What a dire excuse for a footballer.
