When do the tickets go on sale to season ticket holders? I have had a mooch on the villa website (isn't 'mooch' a fantastic word?) and can't find any details.

I think that they're going to just let everyone turn up on the night, pay at the gate and sit where they want

2800 sounds a lot too many, vague recollection we got 1500 at The Sty last time we met?

There's no way hundreds of them will be in the Villa end unless they have an extensive booking history. The Albion one was strict, and I can imagine ticketing credentials for this fixture being even stricter.

Have a look at their forum.  They're ranting and raving, conveniently forgetting our allocation for the last game at the swamp was nearly 1k less.  They should also have a look at their average away following since time began.  It probably doesn't add up to 2,800 altogether.

They could do a lot worse than asking Gary Rowett for tickets...he's probably still got his season ticket at VP after all.

So is it us who've denied Blues a larger allocation, or other parties? I can't tell from that statement. I thought we had to offer the 15% and then it was up to the council/WMP to restrict it based on safety?

I've wondered this for a while - how can you be a Villa cash memeber without having a season card?

We are also not selling tickets in R1 which means that the block next to the away fans is closed so our available seats are also reduced.

I guess the problems at the Baggies game last season had a big bearing on these restrictions.

10% for the carling cup and then reduced on police advice

Tilton Shark on SHA has had his say on the DISGRACEFUL ticket allocation blues have received from da vile and wmp, acting in cahoots with each other, no doubt, the vile bastards:

Quote from: Tilton Shark
And it took 10 days for this disgraceful allocation to be announced. Time to ignore any official dos and donts regarding this game, I hope lots of anger gets vented and then Vile and WMP realise just how much they have p1s5ed of Blues fans. How many will Spurs have up the Ars the following night?
Time to organise a huge meet in the middle of the city that night. We have been seriously wronged here.

Don't hold the meeting on Sherlock St, mate.
