How many players of any team in the Prem really understand derbies these days?
Not many I reckon...

You would hope the four Brummies in our team might have had at least some idea...

Four???

Richards isn't a Brummie.

He was born here because his mom was visiting relatives, but that's it.

We did a good job today in helping shift those remaining tickets for Tuesday... Will be 33-34k now if we're lucky.

And Clark is from Harrow - so his dad was telling as after the debacle at Wembley, in the Black Lion

Assuming this is the pre match thread now could it be renamed and stickied? Want to move on from today's pathetic result.

The pricing for the Witton and Trinity Upper for league games is ridiculous, 40 quid for most games.

Obviously a price cut for the cup but still the priciest parts of the ground so that's the reason there. People will baulk paying to sit up there due to it being a cup game.

if we had karen brady ,,,,it would be kids for a quid up there ,,,,,,,,,and adults for a fiver
full house every game
Theres a circuis in the town, kids up there for a pound for a pound and a fiver for adults in the upper tier and and a tenner for Karen going down going down.

Wasn't he born on the Black Patch in Smethwick and tried to hush it up? You can understand why...

I can see TS doing a Notts County again - overloading the team with attackers thinking we will just blow them away when in fact our "midfield" will get overrun. Theres absolutely no pressure on Blues for this game and its a very dicey one for us indeed.

He's under a bit of pressure now so I doubt he will try anything too out of the ordinary.  If it were up to me I would go with:

                            Bunn

Hutton       Richards        Lescott      Amavi

                 Sanchez        Veretout

Bacuna                 Grealish              Sinclair

                           Gestede

Bacuna gets in because there aren't many other options out there.  That is the formation I would like to see us use going forward with Traore and Gana coming in for Bacuna and Veretout respectively.
