Think Remi will make him work on his fitness with Patrick to get the best out of him. He is long term player not short term player for now.

Apart from his run against Palace and a decent run out against L1 Notts County, he's been largely shit. Perhaps that would explain why he's not playing more often.

Bit of a silly comment considering he's hardly played since then.

It's not as silly as the number of fans continuing to post 'where is Traore?' as if he's the missing ingredient. He will no doubt show flashes but he is miles away from being the player we hope. People need to realise he's one for the future and stop pining for him.

Fair enough, but where is he anyway?

I am not pining for him. We don't often get a young Barcelona player and it is only to be expected that he attracts more attention than a Bowery from Chesterfield.

If used as an impact sub he may well be worth a place on the bench, this team is not blessed with natural pace and yes he maybe a long term prospect, but it is an area we are sadly missing and in need of right now.

In his time with us he has been on the pitch for around 140 minutes, or around a game and a half in total - in that time he has scored one goal and created another one.

Given we've got players in our first team squad who can't point to that level of productivity across the last dozen matches, it's not surprising that people are keen for him to play more than he has been.

Good point, but did we figure out where he is?

I assume not being selected. Or being eased back into selection following his injury.

He was visible in those training pictures from the other day, so presumably they've fixed his ankle-knack from Notts County.

Isn't he taking the penalty?

Of the new signings , he's struggled more than most in understanding Spurs wage bill.

You don't think Barca will be buying him back in the next window then

Agree.
Imagine if Gil had got Adama's pace when running on to Gana's ball vrs Man C?

Remi Garde isn't impressed.Says he has to become more of a team player before he will be considered for the first team.

I hear what you say Ron and take it on board but my gut feeling and earnest hope is that we shall be seeing a lot more of Adama. Team player or not, he lights up Villa Park and by God do we need that at the moment.

Old git alert. When he started with us Peter McParland was roundly accused of not being a good team player.  All that charging down the wing and scoring goals. Running through people. Wingers are supposed to dribble. His job is to pass the ball to Johnny Dixon. Get rid.

Its obvious that costing 7mil he must have more than promise for the future. We appear to have very little up front and he likes attacking the opposition with his pace. Although Remi Garde appears to know what he wants (and that is a good sign) I would like to see him upfront with Sinclair. In fact anything is worth trying at this stage of the season. He is an individual talent not a team grafter.
