Just in case some of you were wondering, I took the ground capacity for this season from the FA again.

42,682.
A shortfall on 'Sold Out' of er, 482 in anybody's maths, including mine.

So, I've no idea what happened, if not a combination of reduced MU allocation ( thanks Amfy), inhospitable weather, horrendous conditions on the M6 and the traditional nonspecific but very real anti roadster malevolence of a Friday Night. 

In fact, if it was actually sold out then God knows why it wasn't quoted as 42,682 before anybody comes back with a, 'yes, but'.  You could ask him in November. ( Twitter just said there's an extra night!) I just use the official attendance on the BBC after the match.

Anyway, this is an excellent example of the drawback of quoting official capacity as soon as somebody posts that the ticket office have said it's sold out.  I have posted a warning to all teams to that effect!

I am just back from my travels so expect the new divisions and points for everybody who played this one, during the week.

Sunderland GTC will be up for grabs on the 19th! Oh yes! UTV!!!

Ok, just to keep everybody going while I work on the divisions;

 I started doing a points round up at the end of a guess thread last season and it went down quite well, so here's the first for this season.

47 teams entered GTC 1 out of 58 declaring interest or just joining in during the week as everybody is invited to do.  ( It's never too late to join Guess The Crowd!)

Points for GTC1 v The Mancs:

beness, usav and Dazvillain all got fabulous 5.

TheTimVilla, JD, Dave Win%, Gregory's Boy, devilla and SashasGrandad achieved a respectable 4.

Loadsa teams on 3 with 'capacity' / Sold out - type or close guesses; RudyCan'tFail, PWShin, Charlie8182, mjlions, berneboy, Silhill, Toronto, Darren W, DesLittle, PGW, Tugby V,  peter w,  Fasth56 and CDBWF.

Rotterdam, waynejames, simon ward50, Caribbeanvillain and eamonn all got 2!  Which is one more than:
Steve Rose, flybo, Legion, WooflesTWD, WalmleyV, VancouverLion, sim boy, LondonVillan, jimmygreen, edgysatsuma89, johnboy, maidstonevillain, Dave Shelley, Comrade Blitz, woody4866, CJ and frank!

Well done, all, we're off and running for 2015/16. Still room for more. I will launch the GTC  for Sunderland after the divisions are up.

I will also pm anybody on the 'interested' thread who signed up but missed this one for whatever reason, as it's easy to forget to guess or miss the week if you're a regular team, never mind a new player. Just this once, for GTC 2!
