Think we lost to them in the early noughties, possibly 2003. All I can actually remember from the night, though, is Gavin McCann sitting behind me eating a balti pie about an hour before kick off.

I was there for that defeat. I think it was when Merson was their manager. The first friendly I went to there was 1993. I think we won 2-0 with Guy Whittingham scoring on one of his first appearances for us. Possibly even his debut.
