This is quite some legacy that David Scott has left us with.

By the way I've just noticed my signature and I'm delighted, thanks to (I guess) paulie for bestowing such an honour on me. Got to sort the flush mechanism on the toilet tomorrow.

I like rugby. There, said it. Union and League but prefer Union.
I like cricket.
I like Formula 1
I like certain golf tournaments
I like athletics
I like darts
I like snooker

In fact there aren't many sports/games that I don't like.

Tennis is the biggest shitehawk of a sport to watch though.

I'll see your tennis and raise you with badminton.

I'm going to out myself here and admit I can't watch anything with Victoria Coren in. Her smart arsery gets right up my nose. Steven Fry too, although she is more pleasing on the eye.

Stephen Fry is a national treasure and Mrs Mitchell is wonderful.

However, Only Connect is a rubbish quiz.

Yep, Fry is tremendous, quite possibly my favourite ever homosexual, although Mercury would be close. Started reading Fry's autobiography which is predictably full of very large words so not suitable for reading when tired before bed.

University Challenge followed by Only Connect on a Monday night is one of the best hours of telly all week.

La Coren is unfunny, though. And a bit smug. And as mentioned already, her brother is an absolute fucking cocksocket.

QI is well past its use-by date, a smugfest which has gone on at least five years too long. Like Mock The Week.

Mock The Week is worth watching for the theme tune alone. And I mean alone.

University Challenge annoys me too much to watch now. I get irritated by the little shits buzzing in while I'm still thinking about it, but at least they have to do that because they want to win. What really pisses me off is Paxman's refusal to reveal the correct answer to the last question of the evening. I always find myself swearing at the telly when it happens. And it happens every episode.

Was the answer 'King of the Kippax'?

Her brother is an absolute twat as well.

While I was at court today I had a message from the 'journalist' supposedly in trouble for breaking the injunction.

Superficially he was complaining how unfair it was. But really he is loving it. He thinks he's Nelson Mandela

I have it on good authority that the Coren-Mitchell house has had to be treated with a special coating to stop it dissolving in the smugness.  Not only that but all visitors are required to don full protective clothing to withstand the blistering levels of extreme self-satisfaction inside.  If it's a family do and the brother is there, nothing less than a full bio-hazard suit (including boots and helmet) is sufficient, and guests are also expected to be handcuffed to ensure they cannot act on the inevitable temptation to punch the arrogant fucker hard in the face.

Is there anyone more punchable than the ever so smug Rev Richard Coles?
