If there's a general consensus that the drum is annoying, would you leave it at home?It should only take a few core singers to dictate the pace of the song, you really shouldn't need a beat.
I doubt we'd ditch it altogether, we have made modifications to the drum to flatten the sound that comes from it though.I don't agree about just needing a few "core singers" to keep the rhythm going, a couple of voices get drowned out pretty easily, I think you need a beat to keep things ticking over, previously we banged on the windows at the side of the holte, or even the seats but inevitably things get broken.
On the basis that the Drum pisses most Villa Fans off, why not ditch it.As has been said we are not Bolton.

I love the noise the Brigada boys make, hardly notice the drum.If it keeps some of the grumpy fu**ers around me in the Trinity Middle awake it's doing a good job!UTV!
