I saved a fortune by being in such an almighty strop I couldn't face the pub after the match so went straight back to my hotel room.

I also got to give a Tarquin on the tube one of the most foul mouthed tirades you will ever hear.

He left on 75 minutes to get to his friends BBQ and didn't want to miss Britain's Got Talent. He is a season ticket holder as well.

Now be fair, only having to beat crap Northern teams like us can't be very satisfying for the poor lamb.

The more I think about it, the more sure I become that you really should have killed him.

Oh yes, one positive was us handing over Dave Cooper's surprise ticket on the Friday night. He has had a rough trot recently and that moment where he realised how highly his mates thought of him, coupled with the emotion of what has been going on in his personal life, meant there were quite a few tears.

Carcking story, well done to you all.

He's obviously a bad omen so don't do it again.

My mood where I wanted to kill the world would have done nothing for anyone Saturday.  It was best I missed it and let you lot enjoy drowning your sorrows, Amfy.

As someone else posted, going to an FA Cup Final with my 16 yer old son was a real highlight. We had a great day leading up to the game and spoke to numerous Villa fans old and young, sharing wonderful stories about our great club.
