Quite angry tonight

Things must be bad, you're normally such a ray of sunshine.

Complete waste of an afternoon. Could have at least given some of the kids some time and the fans some excitement. Have to say the last two performances have tempered my enthusiasm for next season somewhat. Perhaps we are actually still shit.

Let's not kid ourselves. We've had 5 relegation battles in a row. The players on the whole are pretty shit. There needs to be money spent in the summer and not on risks, gambles, and £2m bit part players. The defence needs a complete overhaul for a start.

Spot on.

The last two results have been a reminder of the last five years.

The club needs a massive, massive overhaul.

If something good comes out of today, that will be it, a reminder.

Losing 6-1 at Southampton, then losing limply 1-0 at home to a relegated Burnley and ending up 17th.

It is disgraceful, and the FA Cup is not going to change that.

Glad the season is over. Simply not good enough. Lower than Newcastle, Leicester and Sunderland. Pathetic.

The two Stokes, Ben and City, the main highlights today.

Lowest premier league position and least number of goals scored in a top flight season. The Fans deserve an Fa Cup final win after pretty much relentless shit for half a decade. Fuck the tarquins the spoilt ******.

Sherwood must be gutted to see the majority of his cup final starting line up playing so half-cocked. More worried about not exerting themselves or getting an injury rather than actually trying to win this game.
It's a shame we don't have the depth to just start dropping a load of them after the last two games. Sunderland was shocking, but this was just half-assed. A classic pre-cup final game for a side with nothing to play for.

Today we needed to either really go for it and exorcise last week, or wrap the best players in cotton wool for the week and play the kids, in the hope of being at it next week.

Instead, we've got the worst of both worlds.

We've played our better players, managed to lose, and ensured that we go into the final with our arses in our hands.

It's not really that much of a surprise surely? You see this kind of performance time and again

But I am worried about next week. Our defence 😱😱

That was too close for comfort. 1 place above relegation zone. Shit.

We could very easily be two down after 20 minutes - it isn't very difficult to imagine

Well, thank God that today was not about survival...

I cant see us beating Arsenal who probably like to win a trophy this season too...
But as Gandalf said..."...there was never much hope. Maybe a fools hope..."

Allardyce out at West Ham

Slaven Bilić to replace him no doubt. Smart move.
