Not a chance.

All you need to do is drink half a dozen strong lagers, sing it and you won't be able to stop.

Bump - a song for our unsung captain?

I think Ole Ole is most likely to stick if it gets revisited?

It'll be

he's here he's there he's every fucking where
Fabian fabian

Wary of reinventing the wheel (or having the talent to) a bit of googling for delph chants,

3 most likely to re-surface & stick i've found:

Nanananananananan Fabian Fabian Delph Fabian Delph Fabian Fabian Delph  (a la darren bent)

Ole Ole Ole Ole Fabian Delph Delph Delph Fabian Delph Delph Delph.

Fabian Delph,
Fabian Delph,
Fabian Delph,
Fabian Delph...
as per this version http://m.fanchants.com/football-songs/leeds-chants/fabian-delph-lufc/   ?

I might lean towards the last one as it can go on a long time and, well given this guys' loyalty to us i'll never have a problem dragging it out...

What do people think?

-----

below is other stuff i dug up:

also from leeds it was

He passes like Jazinho
He shoots like Ronaldinho
He's better than Robinho
Its fabulous Fabian Delph,
Fabian Delph,
Fabian Delph,
Fabian Delph...

He tackles and he passes, he hassles and harasses, he gets up people's asses, he's better than Gerrard...FABIAN DELPH *clap*clap* FABIAN DELPH *clap*clap* FABIAN DELPH, FABIAN DELPH, FABIAN DELPH *clap*clap*

And now Delph's back it's about time for a bit of all byself:
 Faaaaabbbbiiiaaaannnnn Deeeeeeelph
 I wanna be Faaabbiiiiaaannn Deeeeelph
I would score

Quote
Fabian Delph has spoken of his pride at captaining Villa - and the unbelievable atmosphere in the claret and blue dressing room.

Delph says it's an honour to skipper a club of such rich traditions.

But he believes more good times are on the horizon under Tim Sherwood, a manager he admires greatly.

Delph insists he's having the time of his life in B6 because of the manager's talent and the changing room camaraderie.

He said: "I'm really enjoying it here. And I'm really enjoying being captain of Villa.

"I've always felt since I've been a regular in the side that I had a responsibility anyway.

"It's not really changed me. I'm still the same.

"I still say the same things before games. It hasn't really changed the way I am, the only difference is I've got an armband around me.

"But it is great to be captain of such a big football club.

"It feels like I've been here a long time now and I've never enjoyed my football as much as I am at the moment.

"The gaffer has been amazing with me and the rest of the boys.

"We have a great dressing room and if we get through this season I'm sure we'll be pushing on to better things."

Delph follows in the footsteps of some amazing skippers - the likes of Gareth Barry and Martin Laursen.

But it's Stiliyan Petrov who really stood out with the armband.

He added: "Stiliyan was a big inspiration to me.

"I really looked up to him when I first came to the football club.

"He was a great leader and a great captain.

"We still speak a lot - not just about football. We have remained very good friends since he has stopped playing."
