Today worries me due to the referee ...Mike Jones .....he is a total idiot who makes the strangest decisions ......

I fear that Delph or Benteke could easily walk with this idiot in charge today ...therefore miss next week

Lets hope these men are given time out today

Has anything been set up for the 35th minute tribute to Slippy G?

To be honest until we hopefully win the cup I wouldn't bother mocking others.
Sage words

Totally right. I'd be really pissed of with TS if players pick up injuries or get a red today in a meaningless game. Surely we'll use common sense today and take a few out of the firing line and give them a break for next week.

Heading off soon to meet my eldest lad before going to the match, so strange going feeling relaxed  :)

I'd completely understand if TS decides to rest players today with the prospect of red cards or injuries. Next weekend is the only factor in deciding who plays today, so if he feels a few of them need some game time after last weekends shambles then that's all good. Its a meaningless game so lets just hope both teams play clean...and Burnley don't make too much of an effort to score to ruin the day!

This idea of resting is bunk in my opinion. Let's not worry about injuries and red cards. Today is a exhibition run out for both teams and no one is going  to  be too hard in tackle. Play first team keep them sharp.

Ashley Barnes is likely to be playing - we need to be wearing full body armour!

Cannot agree at all. It's a nothing game full of risk of injury with a joke of a referee in charge. You simply don't take the risk.

Say Gardner and Robinson getting game time and delivered that would make resting a couple of players or giving them one half sweet. Agbonlahor will be involved today and Sherwood wants to win this one so don't expect major changes in the starting 11. The great thing is AVFC score most goals first half this season so work on getting job done and then a few second half changes. They tend to be like for like rather than tactical. Enjoy the match and its fantastic to have survived. And deservedly so. What I think many of us would like to see is to finish 14th rather than 17th so really its a must win match. 17th place is the one last away from relegation and to finish there would be disappointing. Let's have a rosuing finish. Cheers.

Massive game, been absolutely bricking it all week. Lambert really cannot afford any slips up this time.

Which team you supporting today Andy?
