The way I see it, Grealish, Gil and Cole are competing for the 'slow-but-visionary' attacking position, with Zog, Sinclair, Gabby and possibly Weimann competing for the 'quick-on-the-break' attacking role (Benteke is competing for the Benteke role with Benteke - currently, Benteke's winning). Therefore Gil isn't necessarily out of the team just because Zog's in. The question is, what the hell has Cole done to deserve the spot on the bench instead of Gil, and do we really need both Weimann and Gabby as subs?

What has Zog done to get picked every week? Not being his usual shiteness shouldn't be enough to be in the team.

Jeepers, following the BBC thread of Everton-Sunderland. It really is Everton near miss after Everton near miss.

In fairness Mark, the way we use him creates more space for Benteke and he's still capable of the odd bit of quality (great ball for Benteke when he was taken-out by Hart at Man City).

Amazing to think that we are in exactly the same situation as last week having absolutely to win our game which I believe we will. But fuck me, Newcastle he to be shitting it. Let's hope the Albion players having won last week don't take the week off here. Hull won't be happy either. This is arse ticklingly tight.
