Which was the quiet pub?  The one I went to on Harrow Road nearby was £4 a pint - unless thats completely normal now in this part of the world.  Not that it spoiled the day or anything!!

When you find a quiet pub within striking distance of Wembley at £1.99 a pint you keep it to yourself.

A pint of, admittedly very nice, Sharps Australian IPA, in the Bree Louise was an eye watering 5.20.

Holiday Inn 12.30. That was for three beers not the time we got there.

Having not been there since 1996 the Met seemed very relaxed that copious amounts were being consumed. Was that the same 5 years ago?
