If we can keep our heads we should win this. The runs shouldn't take long to get, it's just a matter of keeping wickets in hand.

As Bears v Northants was pulled out first surely that's the order of play?

The Bears game is confirmed as starting at 11am.

Hants are using their wicket keeper as a fielder without pads and gloves at long stop.

If we beat Kent on Wednesday we will move above Middlesex and rule out Kent, but Lancs could sill nick the last QF place. We could do with them losing today at the Rose Bowl, but they scored 301/4 in their innings after winning the toss, and their last game is against the dismal Glamorgan.

But if Lancs do win we can overtake Hampshire whose last game is Notts away
