Sad it was ruined at the end by too many people having spent too much time in the boozer today.

Sinclair could become a really big player for us, thought he was excellent.

Okore did really well.

Delph though, was totally brilliant. A really first class performance.

This place is going to be a lot of fun the next few days!! We now need another league win to properly start to pull away in the league, or as Sherwood puts it something from every game the rest of the way

Pity about the invasion at the end. Maybe even that is (although unacceptable) a sign of the relief from the dross and dreariness we were served for the past few years. I'll settle for this, compared to that. UTV

Great second 45 then the whole evening was ruined by a bunch of classless c**ts.  That's what you are.

Great second half performance, not least considering the players we've got sidelined.
Shame about the pillocks coming on the pitch, hopefully they'll just make us play the semi-final on a neutral ground

Something to smile about after nearly 5 years of miserable football and results.

People ran on the pitch, and the commentators talk as if it's on par with a mass murder. Yes, it's not the correct way to behave, but nobody seems to have gotten hurt. Maybe I'm being too flippant, and am no way condoning it. Just a bit of reality, please.

The scenes after the final whistle the BBC was going well over the top for. Apparently it is alright for Playoff semi finals but not for this when the end result of both is a trip to Wembley.

However the twats who decided to go on before the final whistle can go fuck themselves and pay the fine between them that the club receives.

I don't mind the post match invasion, anyone who left the stand before the whistle went needs to be banned though. Fucking idiots.

Great second half, Tim is doing the business. Sinclair needs to bought. Very positive, could be a big player for us.

Amazing, utterly utterly brilliant and I'm exhausted. What a night. Those scenes before the final whistle were not good, but I can empathise with the outpouring of joy after so much frustration and so many disappointments. What a season this is turning out to be!

Yes, I completely agree. I missed the part where fans ran on before the final whistle.
I was outside on the phone to my dad, as the girlfriend is in bed sick and didn't want to wake her further with my delight!

there were a number of fans who left the stand in the Witton when Delph scored. I know we have all been a bit starved of success but poor really.

1st and 2nd half night and day. They will say they should of been out of sight at half time. We took our chances they didn't. Ref awful both ways.

Pitch invasion just moronic.

It doesn't detract from a great win in my opinion, a much improved second half performance and some well taken goals.

Up the Villa!

Good post. I also freaked out at them but mainly because it might have cost us a postponement of the match.

Yeah looking back It was just a pitch invasion, they happen all the time. Looks like nobody was hurt.
