Before I calm down and post something sensible about the game later, I just want to say those twats who ran onto the pitch before the end are, to a man, complete and utter wankers. Pretty much everyone else was booing at them and calling them wankers, but some thought it would be a really great idea to do 'power slides' towards the Holte. Hope they get banning orders.

One thing of even more concern - I heard on the way home that during the post-match invasion Fabian Delph was bitten. By one of our own fans.

Add to that the Boggies who apparently ripped seats out of the North Stand Upper and threw them at our fans in the Lower North, it left a sour taste to an otherwise brilliant evening

You're probably right. That's very harsh on the kid then. And he's looked brilliant in the two games this week.

WMP probably need to have a good look at themselves, 5:30 on a Staurday afternoon for a derby game?

Who in their right mind thought that was OK?

Delph has been on the radio to clear up that he was kissed but felt some teeth - so not intentionally bitten :)

There is a little bit of truth to that. Making it the early game made more sense. Not at all to excuse so called "adults" from behaving like tools mind you.

Dreadful first half with only a decent run from Sinclair towards half time. If Ideye had put away that easy chance we would have been in a bit of trouble. I thought Cleverly was the best of a poor bunch at half time. The ammount of drunks staggering around was very noticable.

The second half was a vast improvement Charlie's run and pass to Delph was very good and Sinclair starting to turn it on upset the Baggies.
The two sending offs I wasn't close enough to see so I will watch them later. I thought when Sanchez came on we were much better in the middle of the park.

The pitch invasion we will get a big fine for. Good job there was no fighting so I don't see the FA taking further action.

I dont like the semis being at Wembley but at least we are there!

Just got back the atmosphere was fantastic especially at the start, it's been far too long since the ground rocked like it did today. Having said that the fucking idiots who ran on at the end ruined it. It was so small time running on to celebrate getting to a semi-final, we're Aston Villa not fucking Bradford hope they all get banned bloody tossers.

I thought we looked tense and nervous in the first half and made some poor decisions. You need a bit of luck though and we got it with their wastefulness. Second half was such a contrast and it is as if in 15 or so minutes they calmed down and executed on the game plan perfectly.

It was a bit moody down Witton Island before the game, one bloke had a nasty gash in his head which he reckoned the OB had done.

It's been a good week!

I thought we would win one of these fixtures at best but to do them twice was superb :)

It goes without saying that the pre- final whistle pitch invasion was dumb and unnecessary.

But the beebs moralising about the final whistle invasion was OTT in my opinion.

Was there as much of a fuss a few years back when the Man U ****** invaded the pitch during a cup game after scoring their third, having been 2 - 0 down?

Endorse what you say - a few morons spoiling a great night. Premature celebration just about sums them up. They are wankers!

Poor first half - if that's the best "Pulis football" can do - all those on here who wanted him at the Villa need to think again.

Second half we got the ball on the floor more often, played football and the goals came.

We rested our keeper - they dropped theirs !

Craig Gardiner - your wish will soon come true - when Albion find a replacement you will be sent back to the sty.

Gabby may be past his best but he can still boss the Albion - his standing ovation was my favorite part of the night.
