Lawrenson's the last of the jumper-wearing, bland-speaking, never criticise your mates, golf-playing pundits who have been eclipsed by technology. It's a shame, because he was a great player.

Gold star for anyone who can name the former Villa captain he played with.

Jimmy Brown

Winner.

It says it all when a bunch of random people from Tv like that countdown woman are more accurate than Lawro's predictions

The Countdown woman who's specialist subject on Mastermind was Man Utd in the Premier League years....

Who is from Essex no doubt.

She is

Rachel Riley - and yes, she really is from Essex.

Anyone criticising Rachel Riley needs their head checking

I wonder if Foster will get an ovation as he runs towards the holte end.

A couple of early corners, CB on form and it could be Bob Wilson all over again! But then again.....................

Anyone who thinks that this is not the tie of the weekend needs the brain checking.  Yes it is unlikely to have the standard of football as the game on Monday, but all the elements are there.  A spicey local derby with one team looking to even the score from a few days ago, both teams in the wrong end of the table looking for cup glory, both who have not won the cup for ages, and ages and a massive ground to watch it.  This is what the cup is all about :)

But neither Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City, Spurs or Arsenal are playing, so who cares?

(how could I have forgotten everyones favourite racists, Chelsea).

The Albion are bringing 22 coaches tomorrow for a four mile trip! Only the Noses bring more.

Now there's a lovely thought.

There's a guy called Steve Henson on Facebook. He runs the Berkshire lions. He reckons Benteke isn't in the squad???

It could be true, but why would someone on a West Brom forum know more than Villa forums, the BBC, the local newspapers etc?

Benteke will be fit and will be tearing Albion several arseholes from half 5 onwards.
