So far so good, a second goal would settle my sphincter muscles slightly.

Should be at least two up, I fear we might pay the price in the second half.

Just my thoughts
Thought it was a stonewall penalty too.

Really do hope we can get a second quickly, as it would certainly help me not feel as bloody nervous!

Well I think heel and Sinclair could have a field day against these. So were have some pace and energy last twenty minutes.

Not to be negative, but we should be 2 or 3 up.   This could bite us in the second half.
True enough but they've done fuck all up front.

Yup, I'm really surprised just how shit Albion are. I know they're missing a striker but on that 45 minutes, one of the worst at Villa Park. It's not as if Sherwood's not giving them a chance by playing N'Zogbia. In his defence, I doubt he ever imagined the game would be so open.

I hope we see Gil on second half, he'll have the freedom of them pitch.

I think the fact that Dave Javu has had sardines on toast before going to the game is going to change our luck.

I'm leaving no stone unturned in my attempt to unbelieve that we are doomed.

Good half, when I saw our lineup I feared the worst. Benteke and Gabby, up top. Cleverley and Westwood in midfield, Nzogbia, yes Nzogbia starting

But credit to the gaffer, we have been far more up for the battle than them. Playing very direct football but it worked for the goal. Gabby finally showing some forward instincts and anticipating the flick from Benteke. Very unlucky for the second. Nzogbia has shown a lot more than Sinclair at the weekend justifying his selection.

Was thinking before half time that we could do with a lot more from Delph. Great effort late on and hopefully he starts getting on the ball a bit now.

They have been hopeless but are only one down.

Okore looks very nervous, cant see us keeping a clean sheet so need a second.

It's really mental. There are whole minutes spent with everyone in midfield just swinging at the ball like it's table football. But hey, if it goes our way, who gives a shit, and there are enough Villa bodies in the middle to force it our way by sheer volume.

They are not missing a striker?!

I cannot believe how unlucky we have been. Another night this game is done now, and we are looking up, instead they are still right in it. Lose tonight and we can have very little criticism of Sherwood on this performance. On the back of the Newcastle display where were much better too, I am so frustrated we waited until we did.

The bench is very attacking. Hopefully as legs get tired we utilise it well.
