I'm going up on one of the club coaches. Does anyone have any idea if the police will just shepherd us straight into the ground, or will we be able to have a wander around Newcastle? Hoping to meet a mate up there.

I've only done one official coach in yonks. That was Hull. They aim to get you to the ground 90-120 mins before the game and at Hull as soon as we got off the coach we could do what we wanted.

Thanks. Hoping that the EDL march up there doesn't mean they want to keep us all in the one place.

Villa to win. Bowyer and Dyer to have a fight followed by everyone asking "Why didn't Barry break up the fight?"

Another tepid loss. Possibly "unlucky" etc.

I just think these players are beaten and not good enough.

Sorry to be a downer.

Last season we were in plenty of time to get a few beers in before the game...as we're leaving at 8 (!!!!) we'll have a stop on the way up and probably be there by 1/1.30.

Don't forget to bring some egg sandwiches!
;-)

I think we're leaving at 7.15. I know one lot who are leaving at half 6.

Newcastle boss Carver: Why I’d love to see Aston Villa go down this season

It was funny at the time but this reaction makes it even funnier. Bitter old sod.

I piss myself laughing at every bitter Newcastle fan, it's like they blame us for their team being useless. They were going down long before we put the final nail in the coffin.

If we go down we go down, I wont cry or bleat about another clubs fans laughing or taking the piss as they don't give a toss about us as we don't about them.

Whatever happens I will always smile when I remember that day, chances are we will get flogged at Newcastle but even if we do we still have enough games to save our sorry season whereas they were gone Hahahahahahaha.

Villa need to show the same resolve that ugly old Stoke did last weekend.  Silence the crowd, play aggressively from the start and don't give any stupid early goals away.

I'm struggling to think of a more pathetic club than Newcastle. There's definitely nastier, but as far as melodramatic tendencies go, no one can match them.

Met a few Newcastle fans when travelling around with England in the 90s. Boorish, tedious, obsessed loud mouthed wankers who think that the world revolves around them.
I hope we go 2-0 down, then with their hilarious 'loyal' fans jumping around with glee, watch as Benteke scores three in the last five minutes.
